1966 – Born in Brisbane – “TADAAAAAA”
1983 – Completed high school (Brisbane)
1984 – Queensland College of Art – Certificate of Photography
1984 – Bought my first convertible!
1984 – Started Nikki’s Photographics (operated for 5 years)
1987 – Owner-built my first house
1989 – Worked for AMP agency (1 year)
1989 – Won 6 week round the world trip for high achievement in sales
1991 – Worked for various companies in corporate & promotional clothing
1993 – Registered ‘Nicole Vlug Image and Design’
1994 – Started Active Apparel Pty Ltd (operated 3 years)
1995 – Purchased Brisbane inner city house and office
1996 – Moved to Hong Kong – momentarily
1997 – Started V2 Design Pty Ltd (Gold Coast – operated 9 years)
1997 – Purchased Gold Coast beachside apartment
1999 – V2 Design evolved into NV Design Pty Ltd
2000 – Added a retail boutique to the NV design studio
2001 – Bought a Porsche! – vrooommmmm…
2002 – Started Envidia Pty Ltd – Rusticos Furniture Imports (operated 4 years)
2003 – Purchased large Gold Coast waterfront property
2004 – Purchased derelict cottage near Kalbar QLD
2004 – Obtained boat and PWC License
2005 – Opened the Galley Cafe onsite at NV Design
2006 – Sold up – everything (except the cottage) – free as a bird!
2006 – Purchased house in the mountains for a mini retirement
2007 – Renamed company – Design Diva Pty Ltd
2007 – Became a Certified MEM Practitioner
2007 – Got my motorbike license – vrrrrooommmm….
2008 – Attained Cert IV Training and Assessment
2008 – Attended 4 day internet marketing seminar in Arizona, USA
2009 – Attended 7 day internet marketing cruise in the Caribbean
2009 – Ran the first ‘Get Back To Happy’ seminar
2009 – Flew to Perth to assist in the re-development of the MEM training material
2009 – Became Qualified MEM Practitioner Trainer
2010 – Sold mountain house to travel full time – ‘The Gypsy Trip’ (looking for somewhere with snowy mountain views!!)
2010 – Gypsy Trip first stop – Bellingen NSW 3 months – Communication Course training and development of course material
2010 – Invested in new pro camera gear to get back into photography
2010 – Renovated the derelict cottage into an upmarket B&B style accommodation – a rural holiday house
2010 – Travelled through NSW & Victoria for 7 months with my dog, circumnavigating the Snowy Mountains
2011 – Contracted to develop the ‘Let Go And Live’ programme – graphic & web design, course development, and video work
2011 – Moved to Wagga Wagga – almost became a farmers wife…(1 year)
2012 – Great Art Photos online gallery opened
2012 – Escaped Wagga in the nick of time – Moved to Corryong
2012 – Began www.WebDesignDiva.com.au Wordpress web design and training
2013 – Held my first solo Photographic Exhibition
2013 – Became a committee member on the Man From Snowy River Tourist Association.
2013 – Created and taught training courses at the local neighbourhood centre (CNC) – Digital Photography & Photoshop
2014 – Became a committee member for the Corryong Neighbourhood Centre.
2015 – Back to QLD on and off for 8 months – because I can ;-))
2016 – Moved to Jindabyne – worked ‘The Season’ with Crackenback Farm and Snowsport Thredbo
2017 – Developed Jindabyne’s official website www.DestinationJindabyne.com.au
2019 – Upgraded Destination Jindabyne site to include online monetisation and membership system
2020 – Committee member with the Jindabyne Chamber of Commerce (Since resigned)
2023 – Vice President and Digital Marketing for Snowy Mountains Ratepayers and Residents Association.
Now – Developing a new version of MEM/MFT Mind Freedom Techniques to help individuals and business owners with mental and emotional blocks
